An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Hansson in the 5th minute of play forced Lindome's goalkeeper Ture Aleberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonardo Hansson kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Sören Sjödin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ture Aleberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sören Sjödin came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the A.S.ROMA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sören Sjödin couldn't finish the play. Lindome's Ture Aleberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sören Sjödin in the 19th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Beltxe Paris managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.S.ROMA's supporters rose to their feet, but Beltxe Paris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ture Aleberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee ignored Lindome's protests and gave Ted Lindqvist a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Lindome getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Ted Lindqvist hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Sören Sjödin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ture Aleberg was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Roger Hansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ture Aleberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lindome's Thor Sigfridsson got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 35thth minute of the game Sören Sjödin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lindome's Ture Aleberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Tom Galle fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.S.ROMA's protests and gave Tom Galle a yellow card for diving instead. Tom Galle kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Stig-Åke Magnusson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonardo Hansson in the 45th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

If Roger Hansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roger Hansson in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ture Aleberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thor Sigfridsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stig-Åke Magnusson. A.S.ROMA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
