Vrena's Sivert Carlsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 曲辉军 in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Vrena's goal looked a bit too open when 曲辉军 came free, but Sivert Carlsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sivert Carlsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andréas Alebom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee gave Vrena a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dennis Sjöberg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sparreholm SK's Stu Leyburn. 1-0. In the 16th minute, Karl-Magnus Tunström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vrena's goalkeeper Sivert Carlsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sivert Carlsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 曲辉军, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Sivert Carlsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Måns Linquist in the 24th minute of play. After some careless play in the Vrena defense, Måns Linquist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sivert Carlsson. The Vrena fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sivert Carlsson should have stopped the shot. Måns Linquist struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Sivert Carlsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sparreholm SK. In the 40th minute, Vilmantas Dulevičius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sivert Carlsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Karl-Magnus Tunström might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sivert Carlsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Magnus Tunström ran back to his position shaking his head. Vilmantas Dulevičius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Sivert Carlsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Per-Olof Axelsson's late challenge caught a Sparreholm SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Per-Olof Axelsson helped the player get up and apologised. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

54 minutes into the match, Sparreholm SK's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Morat came free, but Stu Leyburn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Vrena's goal looked a bit too open when 曲辉军 came free, but Sivert Carlsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Måns Linquist had several of the Vrena's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 79 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Sivert Carlsson as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a defensive mix-up in Sparreholm SK's zone, Roger Billström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stu Leyburn came out of the goal and Roger Billström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sivert Carlsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Magnus Tunström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the game, Måns Linquist lined in a short shot 1-5 behind a frustrated Sivert Carlsson. The Vrena fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sparreholm SK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
