In the 18th minute, Ove Käller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nils-Emil Hellström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Olle Löfkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Emil Hellström having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ove Käller in the 28th minute of play forced Viken RK's goalkeeper Nils-Emil Hellström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Viken RK's goal looked a bit too open when Olle Löfkvist came free, but Nils-Emil Hellström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sverker Asmundsson charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sverker Asmundsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nils-Emil Hellström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from August Sjöberg in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Viken RK's goal looked a bit too open when Magnus Olofsson came free, but Nils-Emil Hellström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viken RK's Nils-Emil Hellström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Olofsson in the 43rd minute of play. Allan Lindsten made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Markus Billing sent off a good shot on target. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christian Siöberg was the one to do the kick off. Markus Billing hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute, Viken RK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Olle Löfkvist fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 55th minute, Sverker Asmundsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nils-Emil Hellström was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Adrian Jonsson. After some careless play in the Östmark FK defense, Markus Billing kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Allan Lindsten. The Östmark FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Allan Lindsten should have stopped the shot. Nils-Emil Hellström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Magnus Olofsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 64 minute of play. With an all-out effort, Östmark FK's Nils-Emil Hellström threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from August Sjöberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tim Stensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Lindsten having to interfere. Allan Lindsten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Siöberg in the 87th minute of play. August Sjöberg's late challenge caught a Viken RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. August Sjöberg helped the player get up and apologised. After 87 played minutes Östmark FK got a freekick which was hit by August Sjöberg. After having played for 92 minutes, August Sjöberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Östmark FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but August Sjöberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nils-Emil Hellström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from August Sjöberg in the 94th minute of play. Olle Löfkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Nils-Emil Hellström made a huge save. When the match was over Östmark FK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Viken RK throughout the match.
