Kent Törnblom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Ove Valström having to interfere. Karl-Ove Valström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Törnblom in the 23rd minute of play. Kent Törnblom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Ove Valström having to interfere. After 27 played minutes Red-Bull FC got a freekick which was hit by Roland Skog. Karl-Ove Valström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Törnblom, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. If Kent Törnblom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Bastuträsk BK booed when Red-Bull FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Linquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kent Törnblom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Ove Valström having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Lucas Biörnberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the game, Bastuträsk BK's Kent Törnblom nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl-Ove Valström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kent Törnblom made a kick off. Robin Martinsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Skog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robin Martinsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Oskar Löfkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Roger Linquist hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After 67 played minutes Bastuträsk BK got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Drewitz. After having played for 71 minutes, Kent Törnblom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bastuträsk BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kent Törnblom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Red-Bull FC's zone, Kent Törnblom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Ove Valström came out of the goal and Kent Törnblom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernt Drewitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Ove Valström having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Kent Törnblom ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl-Ove Valström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 89 minutes into the match, Red-Bull FC's goalkeeper Karl-Ove Valström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kent Törnblom. Karl-Oskar Löfkvist struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Robin Martinsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red-Bull FC. Bastuträsk BK played a much better game than Red-Bull FC and deserved their victory. The Red-Bull FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
