Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Per-Åke Engström in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfred Bergström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13thth minute of the game Torsten Kinell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Herbstick's Mark Nordström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Bottnaryd getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Robin Wiman hit a great ball. If Christopher Zander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When FC Herbstick's Christopher Zander in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bottnaryd's goalie prevented a goal. FC Herbstick's Christopher Zander got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfred Bergström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christopher Zander in the 29th minute of the match. Christopher Zander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Bergström having to interfere. If Christopher Zander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Christopher Zander got free with Alfred Bergström in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sören Stensson in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfred Bergström saved Bottnaryd from getting behind. Per-Åke Engström's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Alfred Bergström skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Viggo Tidén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Per-Åke Engström might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfred Bergström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Per-Åke Engström ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Christopher Zander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfred Bergström was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. After 71 minutes, Michel Jonsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bottnaryd and the FC Herbstick players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th minute, one of Bottnaryd:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bottnaryd. The goalkeeper, Alfred Bergström, was totally fooled by FC Herbstick's Jens-Ove Engström, who 72 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Christopher Zander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute, FC Herbstick's Christopher Zander dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Christopher Zander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfred Bergström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Per-Åke Engström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 88 minute of play. When Sören Stensson fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Herbstick's protests and gave Sören Stensson a yellow card for diving instead. Per-Åke Engström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Herbstick played a much better game than Bottnaryd and deserved their victory. The Bottnaryd players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
