The referee ignored Lagetförejaget's protests and gave Tord Kjellman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute, Tord Kjellman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Ivarsson in the 40th minute of play forced Tottenham Hotspurs's goalkeeper Eric Dahlqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sonny Wenerdahl came free with the goalkeeper in the 47th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eric Dahlqvist could save by the left post. Eric Dahlqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lagetförejaget were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
