The Hovshaga AIF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anton Carlsson should have stopped the shot. After having played for 12 minutes, Timo Diez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hasselfors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timo Diez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Hovshaga AIF's Anton Carlsson got control of the ball when Henry Söderquist tried to sneak it across the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Hovshaga AIF's goalkeeper Anton Carlsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timo Diez. After 16 minutes, Mats Lindholm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hovshaga AIF and the Hasselfors players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mats Lindholm hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Söderquist in the 18th minute of play forced Hovshaga AIF's goalkeeper Anton Carlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Henric Stenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hovshaga AIF's supporters rose to their feet, but Henric Stenberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. With his leg Anton Carlsson managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Hasselfors's Henry Söderquist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hovshaga AIF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Timo Diez scored to the left of an out of position Anton Carlsson, making the score, 3-0. In the 47th minute, Harry Norberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henry Söderquist made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Hovshaga AIF's zone, Henry Söderquist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anton Carlsson came out of the goal and Henry Söderquist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fredrik Falkrans kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Henric Stenberg got a throw-in 61 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Stelian Goicea. 70 minutes into the match, Hovshaga AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Söderquist came free, but Anton Carlsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timo Diez's late challenge caught a Hovshaga AIF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Timo Diez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute, Timo Diez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anton Carlsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Söderquist in the 74th minute of the match. Timo Diez kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 84th match minute, Hasselfors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timo Diez to maneuver through the defense. Henry Söderquist's late challenge caught a Hovshaga AIF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henry Söderquist helped the player get up and apologised. Verner Vennerkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Anton Carlsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hasselfors fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hovshaga AIF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
