The supporters of Åryd FK booed when FC Brasselona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Walroth didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Åryd FK's zone, Niklas Mager stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertil Pihlwall came out of the goal and Niklas Mager tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Billy Blom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bertil Pihlwall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niklas Mager in the 21st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Niklas Mager managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Brasselona's supporters rose to their feet, but Niklas Mager was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bertil Pihlwall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Niklas Mager had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Åryd FK's goal looked a bit too open when Rune Modig came free, but Bertil Pihlwall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 played minutes Åryd FK got a freekick which was hit by Kasper Forssberg. If Niklas Mager had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rune Modig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bertil Pihlwall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niklas Mager's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Niklas Mager struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Bertil Pihlwall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Brasselona. In the 46th minute, Billy Blom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Niklas Mager stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Åryd FK's goal looked a bit too open when Rune Modig came free, but Bertil Pihlwall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bertil Pihlwall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niklas Mager, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcus Walroth scored 2-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bertil Pihlwall, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kasper Forssberg's late challenge caught a FC Brasselona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Falkrantz scored 3-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bertil Pihlwall, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 72 minutes into the match, FC Brasselona's Niklas Mager sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bertil Pihlwall narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Jonas Falkrantz managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Brasselona's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Falkrantz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When the referee ended the match the FC Brasselona players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
