Spectators: 7248 (Terracing: 5437, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Herbert Eriksson took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alf Kock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Eriksson in the 4th minute of play. When Arne Bammerman fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Östansjö BK's protests and gave Arne Bammerman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute, Arne Bammerman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 7 minutes of play, Dalaled BK's Herbert Eriksson made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alf Kock was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Herbert Eriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 13 minutes, Brian Nilsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dalaled BK and the Östansjö BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 14 played minutes Dalaled BK got a freekick which was hit by Brian Nilsson. Alf Kock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Jerzyk in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Dalaled BK getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Javier Mascherano hit a great ball. When Lennart Robben came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Östansjö BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lennart Robben couldn't finish the play. Alf Kock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torsten Sandström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Dariusz Jerzyk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alf Kock was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. In the 45th minute, Javier Mascherano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lennart Robben, 46 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Alf Kock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Eriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Persson in the 65th minute of play forced Dalaled BK's goalkeeper Károly Tóth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Joel Persson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Károly Tóth was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Karlo Buenafuente made in the 75th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Dalaled BK's Freddie Bengtsson. Alf Kock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Eriksson in the 78th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, Dariusz Jerzyk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Alf Kock was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Östansjö BK's Pelle Thorsberg was substituted for Tomas Håkansson. In the 86th minute Herbert Eriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Kock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
