After a rather tough play, IFK United's Conny Stålberg got a free kick in the 6th minute. 7 minutes into the game, Arvid Karlsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saxdalen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IFK United the free kick. Arvid Karlsson hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After 10 played minutes IFK United got a freekick which was hit by Conny Stålberg. In the 12th minute, Conny Stålberg made a precise shot to the right of Karl-Axel Sandberg. Saxdalen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Joseph Blomberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Conny Stålberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which Karl-Axel Sandberg however easily saved by the left post. Saxdalen's Karl-Axel Sandberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Saxdalen from getting a goal against them. Dick Löfkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonzo Llorenc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dick Löfkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Llorenc in the 25th minute of the match. Karl-Axel Sandberg was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Christopher Söderman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Christopher Söderman really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 33rd minute Ture Kinell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dick Löfkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 played minutes IFK United got a freekick which was hit by Conny Stålberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Llorenc in the 35th minute of play forced IFK United's goalkeeper Dick Löfkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dick Löfkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alonzo Llorenc went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 40 minutes into the match, IFK United's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Llorenc came free, but Dick Löfkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Theodor Koemets managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saxdalen's supporters rose to their feet, but Theodor Koemets was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dick Löfkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute Alonzo Llorenc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dick Löfkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Karl-Axel Sandberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilgot Forss in the 51st minute of play. Dick Löfkvist made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Alonzo Llorenc sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute, Alonzo Llorenc got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alonzo Llorenc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Dick Löfkvist made a huge save. Alonzo Llorenc in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dick Löfkvist, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. IFK United's Dick Löfkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theodor Koemets in the 74th minute of play. Dick Löfkvist made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Alonzo Llorenc sent off a good shot on target. Dick Löfkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonzo Llorenc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the IFK United defense, Alonzo Llorenc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dick Löfkvist. The IFK United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dick Löfkvist should have stopped the shot. 3-5 became the score in the 82nd minute when Alonzo Llorenc elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Dick Löfkvist made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Alonzo Llorenc sent off a good shot on target. Dick Löfkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theodor Koemets, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The IFK United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Saxdalen's performance. The match ended with a win for Saxdalen.
