With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edvin Falkrans in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maju Laurenciano saved Lagges Boys from getting behind. Bernt Löfgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maju Laurenciano having to interfere. Lagges Boys's Maju Laurenciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Nordin in the 8th minute of play. Kim Lindsten struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Maju Laurenciano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Storfors. Maju Laurenciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Nordin in the 12th minute of the match. Klas Rang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Johan Månsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edvin Falkrans kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Stig Kihlman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Johan Månsson. Storfors's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Maju Laurenciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Nordin in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Roger Hellström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Rutger Wikander fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lagges Boys's protests and gave Rutger Wikander a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lagges Boys fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! 28 minutes into the match, Storfors's Kim Lindsten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maju Laurenciano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Klas Rang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Månsson having to interfere. Leif Österlund made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Lagges Boys's Sven-Åke Lundin. Maju Laurenciano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Nordin, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Maju Laurenciano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernt Löfgren went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 43 played minutes Lagges Boys got a freekick which was hit by Sixten Tinglöf. If Erik Nordin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernt Löfgren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Storfors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvin Falkrans to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Nordin in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maju Laurenciano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernt Löfgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lagges Boys! Maju Laurenciano went to the wrong direction when Bernt Löfgren was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Lagges Boys's Maju Laurenciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Nordin in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute, one of Lagges Boys:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lagges Boys. Bernt Löfgren shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. A collision led to Lagges Boys getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Rutger Wikander hit a great ball. In the 74th minute Erik Nordin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maju Laurenciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sixten Tinglöf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Edvin Falkrans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
