The Vildarnas IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Egon Billock should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sören Blomqvist in the 12th minute of play forced Vildarnas IFK's goalkeeper Egon Billock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13thth minute of the game Isaac Löfdahl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vildarnas IFK's Egon Billock was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jack Ekenberg in the 19th minute of play forced Vildarnas IFK's goalkeeper Egon Billock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaac Löfdahl stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Isaac Löfdahl came free with the goalkeeper in the 51st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Egon Billock could save by the left post. Sören Blomqvist hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Adrian Hellsing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Harald Böcklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Egon Billock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sören Blomqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 65 minutes into the game, Isaac Löfdahl recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Egon Billock. Isaac Löfdahl showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Egon Billock made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaac Löfdahl in the 69th minute. With a little luck, Vildarnas IFK's Egon Billock got control of the ball when Jack Ekenberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Philip Lindberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Harald Böcklund. The Vildarnas IFK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Arsenal FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
