In the 7th minute, Ingemar Olsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Douglas Knutsson fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stavsnäs's protests and gave Douglas Knutsson a yellow card for diving instead. Douglas Knutsson hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Per-Olof Fagrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Jan-Erik Boberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ulf Högberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvald Walroth scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan-Erik Boberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stavsnäs's Ulf Högberg got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Ulf Högberg fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jimmie Hägglund's late challenge caught a Stavsnäs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimmie Hägglund helped the player get up and apologised. Jimmie Hägglund hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Ulf Högberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stavsnäs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulf Högberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Birger Sjöberg didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 34th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ulf Högberg made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulf Högberg in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Birger Sjöberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Stavsnäs's Ulf Högberg in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Moskosel IK's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Stavsnäs's Jan-Erik Boberg got control of the ball when Per-Olof Fagrell tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Moskosel IK's Stellan Vallmark got a free kick in the 64th minute. If Ulf Högberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulf Högberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birger Sjöberg having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Högberg in the 72nd minute of play forced Moskosel IK's goalkeeper Birger Sjöberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Moskosel IK! The referee gave Stavsnäs a penalty, 78 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Joseph Bodin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Moskosel IK's Birger Sjöberg. 2-1. Ulf Högberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ulf Högberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Birger Sjöberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Stavsnäs had played much better football throughout.
