The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Iän Sävedalen BK's goalkeeper Jonas Ekeberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If John Mattsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that John Mattsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mårten Hägg was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Boris Mikaelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mårten Hägg having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Robert Bergfelt got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Filiph Berggren took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jonas Ekeberg to make any attempt to save it. When Glamour Cats's Filiph Berggren in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Filiph Berggren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonas Ekeberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Glamour Cats's Filiph Berggren in the 30th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Jonas Ekeberg was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Iän Sävedalen BK through an amazing save. Filiph Berggren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jonas Ekeberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Glamour Cats's zone, John Mattsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mårten Hägg came out of the goal and John Mattsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mårten Hägg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Mattsson in the 37th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Glamour Cats defense, John Mattsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mårten Hägg. The Glamour Cats fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mårten Hägg should have stopped the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Boris Mikaelsson to make the kick off. The supporters of Glamour Cats booed when Iän Sävedalen BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Arne Viklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, Martin Lundgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonas Ekeberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filiph Berggren went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Jonas Ekeberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Bergfelt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Bergfelt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Jonas Ekeberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert Bergfelt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Ekeberg having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Iän Sävedalen BK's goal looked a bit too open when Filiph Berggren came free, but Jonas Ekeberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas Ekeberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiph Berggren in the 87th minute of play. Mårten Hägg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boris Mikaelsson in the 89th minute of the match. A collision led to Glamour Cats getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Daniel Falkrans hit a great ball. Kjell Markusson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 91st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 94th minute of the match Johnny Sundström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonas Ekeberg skillfully saved the ball. Iän Sävedalen BK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
