Tre Ankare's Anders Lustig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulf Österberg in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Ulf Österberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anders Lustig, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ove Hedman in the 17th minute of play forced Mölndal RK's goalkeeper Dennis Glanselius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th match minute, Mölndal RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulf Österberg to maneuver through the defense. The coaching staff of Tre Ankare protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Morgan Vibjörnsson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A nice corner shot did that Fabian Hellqvist got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Anders Lustig quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 37 minutes into the match, Tre Ankare's goalkeeper Anders Lustig had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcus Hägert. Lars Klint came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Anders Lustig could save by the left post. Marcus Hägert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Anders Lustig made a huge save. In the 41st minute Ulf Österberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Lustig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tre Ankare's Anders Lustig proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Tre Ankare from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulf Österberg to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 96th minute, Marcus Hägert left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mölndal RK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Mölndal RK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
