Kåre Åhman started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Löde FF's Birger Säfström got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Flemming Torndahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Odman in the 3rd minute of the match. Tage Bodin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th match minute, Löde FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustav Klementsson to maneuver through the defense. Jens-Ola Zachrisson charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jens-Ola Zachrisson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Grythyttan getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Jens-Ola Zachrisson hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Odman in the 13th minute of play forced Löde FF's goalkeeper Flemming Torndahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Kåre Åhman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rutger Ekeberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flemming Torndahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Odman, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. When Ulf Blomqvist fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grythyttan's protests and gave Ulf Blomqvist a yellow card for diving instead. Ulf Blomqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After having played for 21 minutes, Birger Säfström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Löde FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Birger Säfström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rutger Ekeberg made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Vilhelm Andersson sent off a good shot on target. 26 minutes into the match, Löde FF's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Odman came free, but Flemming Torndahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. John Lundberg charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed John Lundberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. John Lundberg hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Kåre Åhman scored 1-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rutger Ekeberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 33 minutes into the match, Grythyttan's goalkeeper Rutger Ekeberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vilhelm Andersson. Rutger Ekeberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kåre Åhman's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Thor Billvall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Rutger Ekeberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Kåre Åhman sped through Grythyttan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rutger Ekeberg. After a rather tough play, Löde FF's Emanuel Wästerberg got a free kick in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tage Bodin was the one to do the kick off. Ulf Blomqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Löde FF's Flemming Torndahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tage Bodin in the 63rd minute of play. Rutger Ekeberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kåre Åhman in the 71st minute of play. Birger Säfström kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Jan Odman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Flemming Torndahl made a huge save. Jens-Ola Zachrisson hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Grythyttan's Stig-Åke Molander got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Löde FF had won after a very even match.
