The referee ignored Skobagarna SK's protests and gave Hampus Wästerberg a yellow card for diving instead. Roger Beckman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Bertil Gustavsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ankeborgs if's Mattias Torstensson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Ankeborgs if from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Ankeborgs if's Mattias Torstensson got control of the ball when Thomas Kvalfält tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hampus Wästerberg kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes Ankeborgs if got a freekick which was hit by Conny Josefsson. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michael Lindberg during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mattias Torstensson made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Thomas Kvalfält sent off a good shot on target. Mattias Torstensson was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Thomas Kvalfält capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Thomas Kvalfält really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sten Lind got free with Mattias Torstensson in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mattias Torstensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Lindberg in the 37th minute of play. Sten Lind could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Mattias Torstensson made a huge save. Hampus Wästerberg made in the 44th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Sten Lind.

Mattias Torstensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sten Lind in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Lindberg in the 55th minute of play forced Ankeborgs if's goalkeeper Mattias Torstensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sten Lind fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Torstensson having to interfere. Mattias Torstensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Lind, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Skobagarna SK's Thomas Kvalfält got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mattias Torstensson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mattias Torstensson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skobagarna SK. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Skobagarna SK had played much better football throughout.
