The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Markus Pil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ralf Bergren was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. 10 minutes into the game, Villands Vånga BF's Raoul Welchau nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raoul Welchau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ralf Bergren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Markus Pil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralf Bergren having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Falsterbo RK's goal looked a bit too open when Markus Pil came free, but Ralf Bergren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Villands Vånga BF's Martin Hult proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Villands Vånga BF from getting a goal against them. Ralf Bergren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Markus Pil, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 40th minute, Raoul Welchau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th minute Tage Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Hult saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Markus Pil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 69 minutes of play, Falsterbo RK's Ingvar Fogel made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martin Hult was left in no man's land by his defense there! Martin Hult showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Pålsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute, Robert Pålsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Falsterbo RK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Markus Pil struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Ralf Bergren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villands Vånga BF. Robert Pålsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Hult. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robert Pålsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice moves Markus Pil could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Ralf Bergren however easily saved by the left post. Markus Pil who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Ralf Bergren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 96th match minute, Falsterbo RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmie Eliasson to maneuver through the defense. If Markus Pil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
