Tommy Rydberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Gusztáv Dósa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Österbymo IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blixt 1993 the free kick. Gusztáv Dósa hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Gustav Västlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Rudqvist having to interfere. Christopher Ahlqvist hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Tommy Rydberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt Wennerqvist in the 40th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonard Nilsson to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Richard Juhlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Rydberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brian Hökqvist in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Leon Peeters got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tommy Rydberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Österbymo IFK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Blixt 1993:s goal. Gusztáv Dósa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Sebastian Rudqvist made a huge save. A nice corner shot did that Christopher Ahlqvist got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sebastian Rudqvist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 92 played minutes Österbymo IFK got a freekick which was hit by Christopher Ahlqvist. Blixt 1993's Sebastian Rudqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Blixt 1993 from getting a goal against them.
