Vincent Lindgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 7 minutes into the match, Rudolf Svensson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Bergby IK's Bertil Billock. Bertil Billock was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Bergby IK booed when Ransäter IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Erik Ahlgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Ransäter IK's goal looked a bit too open when Sigvard Vestberg came free, but Stig-Ove Hedlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olov Pil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Bertil Billock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stig-Ove Hedlund made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Nils Ålberg sent off a good shot on target. Rudolf Svensson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bertil Billock having to make a save. 22 minutes into the match, Bergby IK's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolf Svensson came free, but Bertil Billock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ransäter IK's Stig-Ove Hedlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigvard Vestberg in the 24th minute of play. A hard shot by Christian Ahlén from long distance, 31 minutes into the match, got Stig-Ove Hedlund's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 32nd minute, Kennet Apelkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rudolf Svensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertil Billock having to interfere. In the 39th match minute, Bergby IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Hägert to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, Sigvard Vestberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Stig-Ove Hedlund, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Rudolf Svensson made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Ransäter IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Erik Ahlgren to maneuver through the defense. Philip Pettersson made a great header on Bergby IK's corner, it was just that Ransäter IK's Stig-Ove Hedlund managed to reach the ball for a save. Sigvard Vestberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Ove Hedlund having to interfere. Jens-Ola Kuse took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stig-Ove Hedlund. Stig-Ove Hedlund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 63rd minute Rudolf Svensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertil Billock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Ola Kuse in the 64th minute of play forced Ransäter IK's goalkeeper Stig-Ove Hedlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Rudolf Svensson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rudolf Svensson took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bertil Billock. Bertil Billock dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 70th minute Sigvard Vestberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig-Ove Hedlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stig-Ove Hedlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigvard Vestberg in the 70th minute of play. If Rudolf Svensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Per Levander struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Bertil Billock didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ransäter IK. Jens-Ola Kuse took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stig-Ove Hedlund. Stig-Ove Hedlund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. If Nils Ålberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vincent Lindgren took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bertil Billock. Bertil Billock dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. The Ransäter IK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
