Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) Boris Bennet started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Hovås's Hansmorten Nielsenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casper Pålsson in the 10th minute of play. Jerry Lövkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hansmorten Nielsenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casper Pålsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Hansmorten Nielsenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Linqvist in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Globetrotters's goalkeeper Grigoriy Chabanov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by George Forsman. Hansmorten Nielsenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boris Bennet in the 22nd minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Allan Linqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hansmorten Nielsenius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Boris Bennet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hansmorten Nielsenius was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Hansmorten Nielsenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Lundgren in the 35th minute of play. Casper Pålsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stefan Lundgren struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Hansmorten Nielsenius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Globetrotters. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stefan Lundgren in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hansmorten Nielsenius saved Hovås from getting behind. The Globetrotters fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Globetrotters's Stefan Lundgren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Grigoriy Chabanov successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 46 minutes into the match, Globetrotters's goal looked a bit too open when Wincenty Olejasz came free, but Grigoriy Chabanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Globetrotters were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for George Forsman to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Hovås's zone, Constantin Crașovan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hansmorten Nielsenius came out of the goal and Constantin Crașovan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hovås's Hansmorten Nielsenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boris Bennet in the 59th minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Hovås was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wincenty Olejasz to maneuver through the defense. Grigoriy Chabanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Forsman in the 68th minute of play. If Casper Pålsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Globetrotters booed when Hovås was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Nyman didn't get a good kick on the ball. John Nyman scored 1-2 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Grigoriy Chabanov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Grigoriy Chabanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wincenty Olejasz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 85 played minutes Globetrotters got a freekick which was hit by Allan Linqvist. Ingvar Ekrot made in the 88th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Hovås's Mikael Christoffersson. Hovås's Hansmorten Nielsenius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Hovås from getting a goal against them. 95 minutes into the match, John Nyman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Grigoriy Chabanov. Globetrotters's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that John Nyman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Globetrotters players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
