Spectators: 7135 (Terracing: 5353, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 141) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Örjan Johansson started the match with the kick off. Claes Eklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Joar Grönlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sverker Göransson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viggo Dalgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 14th minute, Örjan Johansson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joar Grönlund was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 17 minutes into the game, Fritz Stålberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Duvbo BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Edsbro BK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Duvbo BK's Fritz Stålberg got a free kick in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Edsbro BK's Örjan Johansson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joar Grönlund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Claes Eklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Edsbro BK's Örjan Johansson in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Duvbo BK's goalie prevented a goal. If Casper Björk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joar Grönlund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Örjan Johansson's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. When Edsbro BK's Örjan Johansson in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Duvbo BK's goalie prevented a goal. If Claes Eklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joar Grönlund came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Edsbro BK's Claes Eklund. But to his dismay, Claes Eklund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erling Bolander made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Bengt-Arne Odman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Duvbo BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt-Arne Odman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sverker Göransson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fritz Stålberg hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Duvbo BK's Joar Grönlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casper Björk in the 61st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Claes Eklund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Edsbro BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Claes Eklund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joar Grönlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Örjan Johansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Örjan Johansson in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joar Grönlund saved Duvbo BK from getting behind. When Örjan Johansson came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Edsbro BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Örjan Johansson couldn't finish the play. Sverker Göransson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Åkerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Joar Grönlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Örjan Johansson in the 82nd minute of play. Örjan Johansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Örjan Johansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Edsbro BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Joar Grönlund made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Örjan Johansson sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Duvbo BK's zone, Örjan Johansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joar Grönlund came out of the goal and Örjan Johansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Duvbo BK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Edsbro BK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
