Spectators: 7275 (Terracing: 5458, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Uno Ahlström started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uno Ahlström in the 4th minute of play forced Zamba Sällskapet's goalkeeper Petter Biörnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th match minute, Ekhagen IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingmar Bennet to maneuver through the defense. Zamba Sällskapet's Allan Myr shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 5th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Karl-Erik Jansson but with some difficulty. Karl-Erik Jansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven-Arne Åkesson in the 7th minute. 11 minutes in the game, Leonard Nilsson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Karl-Erik Jansson having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Leonard Nilsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zamba Sällskapet's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonard Nilsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Erik Jansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Zamba Sällskapet's Karl-Erik Jansson threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leonard Nilsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Leonard Nilsson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 25th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Uno Ahlström scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Petter Biörnberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30th minute, Oliver Biörnberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Nilsson in the 36th minute of play forced Ekhagen IF's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Jansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Uno Ahlström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petter Biörnberg. Zamba Sällskapet's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Uno Ahlström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonard Nilsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Per Billing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Petter Biörnberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Uno Ahlström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Ekhagen IF's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Nilsson came free, but Karl-Erik Jansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Ekhagen IF's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Arne Åkesson came free, but Karl-Erik Jansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Zamba Sällskapet's Pontus Delin got a free kick in the 67th minute. Ekhagen IF's Ingmar Bennet got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Petter Biörnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uno Ahlström in the 77th minute of play. Uno Ahlström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Per Billing notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Zamba Sällskapet's Petter Biörnberg. Petter Biörnberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lucas Kellberg hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Zamba Sällskapet's zone, Lucas Kellberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petter Biörnberg came out of the goal and Lucas Kellberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Petter Biörnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Jakobsson in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute Sven-Arne Åkesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Jansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Erik Jansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Nilsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Zamba Sällskapet supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ekhagen IF's performance. The match ended with a win for Ekhagen IF.
