Spectators: 7199 (Terracing: 5401, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) Jarl Gudmundsson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Glanshammar IFK booed when Gällö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svante Kaxe didn't get a good kick on the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Gällö's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Gummeson came free, but Ivan Almstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Almstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Gummeson, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Gällö's Ivan Almstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarl Gudmundsson in the 7th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Jarl Gudmundsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 14 minutes into the game, Glanshammar IFK's Walter Gummeson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivan Almstedt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Walter Gummeson took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Almstedt. Ivan Almstedt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 21st play minutes Olov Lindell shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Sivert Sikström and just under the crossbar into goal. Ivan Almstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarl Gudmundsson in the 24th minute of play. Jarl Gudmundsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Almstedt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jarl Gudmundsson ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olov Lindell in the 27th minute of play forced Glanshammar IFK's goalkeeper Sivert Sikström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gällö's zone, Jarl Gudmundsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Almstedt came out of the goal and Jarl Gudmundsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olov Lindell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sivert Sikström having to make a save. Jarl Gudmundsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Almstedt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jarl Gudmundsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Thor Söderström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Almstedt having to interfere. Walter Gummeson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ivan Almstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jarl Gudmundsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th match minute, Glanshammar IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thor Söderström to maneuver through the defense. Walter Gummeson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Almstedt having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olov Lindell to make the kick off. Thor Söderström struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Ivan Almstedt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glanshammar IFK. Olov Lindell scored 2-4 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sivert Sikström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Walter Gummeson in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ivan Almstedt, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Walter Gummeson took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Ivan Almstedt to make any attempt to save it. In the 81st minute Olov Lindell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sivert Sikström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 played minutes Gällö got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Emil Örn. Glanshammar IFK's Kalle Pålsson shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 86th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ivan Almstedt but with some difficulty. Ivan Almstedt made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Walter Gummeson sent off a good shot on target. Jarl Gudmundsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Almstedt having to interfere. Olov Lindell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Glanshammar IFK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gällö.
