Ulf Åkerström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Lindell in the 3rd minute of the match. Ulf Åkerström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy Fristedt in the 5th minute of play. Olov Lindell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ulf Åkerström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute Olov Lindell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulf Åkerström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Moheda's goal looked a bit too open when Olov Lindell came free, but Ulf Åkerström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gällö's Ivan Almstedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Gällö from getting a goal against them. Ivan Almstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Åke Backman, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. A collision led to Gällö getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Svante Kaxe hit a great ball. In the 24th match minute, Moheda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Lindström to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Moheda's zone, Olov Lindell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulf Åkerström came out of the goal and Olov Lindell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Åke Backman in the 27th minute of play forced Gällö's goalkeeper Ivan Almstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simon Hedlund succeeded in the game's 30th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. After having played for 39 minutes, Stig-Åke Backman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moheda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig-Åke Backman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ulf Åkerström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy Fristedt in the 42nd minute of play. Simon Hedlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Almstedt having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stig-Åke Backman was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Roy Fristedt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gällö's supporters rose to their feet, but Roy Fristedt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulf Åkerström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roy Fristedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roy Fristedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulf Åkerström having to interfere. Moheda's Simon Hedlund got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ivan Almstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Åke Backman in the 67th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Moheda's Stig-Åke Backman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivan Almstedt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olov Lindell in the 77th minute of play forced Moheda's goalkeeper Ulf Åkerström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gert Hedman fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moheda's protests and gave Gert Hedman a yellow card for diving instead. Moheda's Ulf Åkerström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olov Lindell in the 80th minute of play. Simon Hedlund might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Almstedt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Simon Hedlund ran back to his position shaking his head. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Moheda! In the 91st minute there was a penalty for Gällö. Ted Hellkvist stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ulf Åkerström. 2-1. 95 minutes into the match, Gällö's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Åke Backman came free, but Ivan Almstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gällö players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Moheda.
