The supporters of Matfors FF booed when Hajduk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Malm didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Ture Öberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hajduk's supporters rose to their feet, but Ture Öberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonardo Blomqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Vincent Bengtsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Börje Ahlgren charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Börje Ahlgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bogdan Sucigan made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Börje Ahlgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hajduk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Börje Ahlgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Matfors FF's zone, Elof Bogren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Blomqvist came out of the goal and Elof Bogren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute, Ture Öberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leonardo Blomqvist. The goal made the score 0-4. When Vincent Bengtsson came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Hajduk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vincent Bengtsson couldn't finish the play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ture Öberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Matfors FF defense, Börje Ahlgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonardo Blomqvist. The Matfors FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonardo Blomqvist should have stopped the shot. 99 minutes into the match, Simon Malm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonardo Blomqvist. Matfors FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simon Malm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6.
