Fred Petersson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alf Ståhlman went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Långshyttan BK's Fred Petersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristoffer Persson in the 12th minute of play. Petros Stratikis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Fanström having to interfere. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Aílton Meireles sped through Linneryd FF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Martin Fanström. With his leg Fred Petersson managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Linneryd FF's Alf Ståhlman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 21 minutes into the match, Linneryd FF's goal looked a bit too open when Aílton Meireles came free, but Martin Fanström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Långshyttan BK's Fred Petersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Sandström in the 22nd minute of play. Martin Fanström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aílton Meireles in the 24th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Linneryd FF's zone, Aílton Meireles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Fanström came out of the goal and Aílton Meireles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petros Stratikis in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Fanström saved Linneryd FF from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Långshyttan BK's Jonatan Ståhlberg got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute of the match, Alf Ståhlman got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fred Petersson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 36 minutes into the game, Långshyttan BK's Aílton Meireles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Fanström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In a very dangerous position, a player in Långshyttan BK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! Sivert Sefastsson placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! An unexpectedly hard shot by Aílton Meireles in the 45th minute of play forced Linneryd FF's goalkeeper Martin Fanström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute Eric Sandström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Petersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Petros Stratikis made a kick off. With his leg Martin Fanström managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Långshyttan BK's Petros Stratikis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Martin Fanström made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Petros Stratikis sent off a good shot on target. In the 60th minute there was a penalty for Linneryd FF. Sivert Sefastsson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fred Petersson. 2-3. 62 minutes into the match, Långshyttan BK's goal looked a bit too open when Alf Ståhlman came free, but Fred Petersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Linneryd FF's Martin Fanström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Linneryd FF from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Petros Stratikis could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Martin Fanström however easily saved by the left post. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Linneryd FF! In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Linneryd FF's goalkeeper Martin Fanström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 89th minute Eric Sandström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Petersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 minutes of play, Linneryd FF's Eric Sandström made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fred Petersson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Helge Samuelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Långshyttan BK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
