Gervasio Niva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th match minute, Mean Machine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Björn Viklund to maneuver through the defense. Birger Jönsson charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Birger Jönsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Vasastans Väktare getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Birger Jönsson hit a great ball. In the 19th minute of the match Douglas Asklund sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alex Brummer skillfully saved the ball. Petter Arvidsson came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Vasastans Väktare's Gervasio Niva. But to his dismay, Gervasio Niva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Edmund Persson kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Bernt Mårtensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Mean Machine's goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Niva came free, but Petter Arvidsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petter Arvidsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Ler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Vasastans Väktare's Gervasio Niva in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mean Machine's goalie prevented a goal. In the 40th minute, Siro Ler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vasastans Väktare fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. With a little luck, Vasastans Väktare's Alex Brummer got control of the ball when Bernt Mårtensson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bo-Erik Falk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Petter Arvidsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gervasio Niva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gervasio Niva to strike the kick off in the second half. Romulo Nuno kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Siro Ler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Bo-Erik Falk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vasastans Väktare's supporters rose to their feet, but Bo-Erik Falk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petter Arvidsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Mean Machine booed when Vasastans Väktare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Engman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Brummer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petter Ek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Vasastans Väktare's Gervasio Niva ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Petter Arvidsson. Petter Arvidsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Gervasio Niva kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Bernt Mårtensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, Vasastans Väktare's goal looked a bit too open when Birger Bergman came free, but Alex Brummer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Birger Bergman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Mårtensson in the 95th minute of play forced Vasastans Väktare's goalkeeper Alex Brummer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute Bernt Mårtensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Brummer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vasastans Väktare eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
