Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Segmon RK's Marcus Söderqwist started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 10 minutes into the game, Carl Sundin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Segmon RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mora BK the free kick. A collision led to Segmon RK getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Carl Sundin hit a great ball. Jens-Ove Kjellkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Bremming, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mora BK's zone, Joseph Ekeberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenny Petersson came out of the goal and Joseph Ekeberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Filip Dahlgren fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Segmon RK's protests and gave Filip Dahlgren a yellow card for diving instead. Filip Dahlgren hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Segmon RK's Jens-Ove Kjellkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrik Bremming in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute Henrik Bremming shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Ove Kjellkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filip Dahlgren kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Segmon RK's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Bremming came free, but Jens-Ove Kjellkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stellan Mårtensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Jens-Ove Kjellkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute Henrik Bremming shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Ove Kjellkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Henrik Bremming hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Henrik Bremming got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Mora BK. Mora BK's Henrik Bremming got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stellan Mårtensson struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Jens-Ove Kjellkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mora BK. In the 47th minute, Joakim Sellberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henrik Bremming stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The attack was good, but when Henrik Bremming in the 61st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Stellan Mårtensson sped through Segmon RK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jens-Ove Kjellkvist. Stellan Mårtensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Jens-Ove Kjellkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kenny Petersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Söderqwist in the 80th minute of the match. In the 84th minute Patrick Springfält shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Ove Kjellkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jens-Ove Kjellkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Bremming, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Mora BK were the better team. Mora BK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
