Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tommy Ahlbom started the match with the kick off. Simrishamn RK's Lars Kling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torbjörn Bergfeldt in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torbjörn Bergfeldt in the 15th minute of play forced Simrishamn RK's goalkeeper Lars Kling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 played minutes Simrishamn RK got a freekick which was hit by Sonny Almkvist. Elliot Johnsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 29 played minutes Vedum IFK got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Arne Hybbert. In the 32nd minute, Bo Abrahamsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Simrishamn RK getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Stig Skytt hit a great ball. Börje Nyberg, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torbjörn Bergfeldt in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lars Kling prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stig-Arne Hybbert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Lars Kling made a huge save. Björn Ahlroht made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo Abrahamsson in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vedum IFK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Olle Engström was slow to take the kick. During this time Simrishamn RK's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Simrishamn RK's corner Bo Abrahamsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Björn Ahlroht quite easily take care of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torbjörn Bergfeldt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stig-Arne Hybbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Lars Kling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 52 minutes, Torbjörn Bergfeldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vedum IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torbjörn Bergfeldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lars Kling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Arne Hybbert in the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute Stig-Arne Hybbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Kling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Simrishamn RK's goalkeeper Lars Kling, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lars Kling didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Torbjörn Bergfeldt went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Stig-Arne Hybbert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the game, Sverker Malmberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Simrishamn RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vedum IFK the free kick. A collision led to Simrishamn RK getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Sverker Malmberg hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torbjörn Bergfeldt in the 68th minute of play forced Simrishamn RK's goalkeeper Lars Kling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Torbjörn Bergfeldt made a precise shot to the right of Lars Kling. Simrishamn RK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Torbjörn Bergfeldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torbjörn Bergfeldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Kling having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Simrishamn RK's Stig Skytt got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Simrishamn RK's Lars Kling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Arne Hybbert in the 83rd minute of play. In the 92nd minute Stig-Arne Hybbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Kling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Simrishamn RK's goalkeeper Lars Kling, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vedum IFK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
