Alvar Bank recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Slaskrännan IF's goalkeeper Ivan Öfverman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thomas Ek shot from long distance after 68 played minutes, a shot that Michael Söderquist with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. Chants of Slaskrännan IF echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Borussia Maria Park had held the ball for most of the match.
