In the 11th match minute, Tottenham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torbjörn Arenstedt to maneuver through the defense. Edmundo Casanova was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 14th minute. Arsenal FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ivan Morning made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torbjörn Arenstedt in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute Marcus Jansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Morning saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harry Winterbottom took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kjell-Arne Danielsson. Kjell-Arne Danielsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Harry Winterbottom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arne Weise during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Arsenal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arne Weise to maneuver through the defense. Torbjörn Arenstedt struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Ivan Morning didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tottenham. 40 minutes into the game, Edmundo Casanova recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kjell-Arne Danielsson. Edmundo Casanova showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 43 minutes into the game, Gustav Kvarnström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tottenham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arsenal FC the free kick. The supporters of Arsenal FC booed when Tottenham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustav Kvarnström didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Harry Winterbottom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Tottenham defense, Harry Winterbottom kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kjell-Arne Danielsson. The Tottenham fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kjell-Arne Danielsson should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The Arsenal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivan Morning should have stopped the shot. Kjell-Arne Danielsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Casanova in the 67th minute of the match. Kjell-Arne Danielsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Winterbottom in the 70th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tottenham fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for Arsenal FC. Edmundo Casanova stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kjell-Arne Danielsson. 4-1. In the 79th match minute, Arsenal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arne Weise to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harry Winterbottom in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kjell-Arne Danielsson saved Tottenham from getting behind. Kjell-Arne Danielsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Casanova, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the game, Arsenal FC's Harry Winterbottom nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kjell-Arne Danielsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. 93 minutes into the match, Tottenham's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Winterbottom came free, but Kjell-Arne Danielsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Arsenal FC's zone, Peter Giliusson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Morning came out of the goal and Peter Giliusson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 99 minutes, Torbjörn Arenstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tottenham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torbjörn Arenstedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcus Jansson scored 5-2 in the 101st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Morning, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arsenal FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
