Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Brastad's Johan Ahlkvist started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kurt Blixt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Sverker Sandström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sverker Sandström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Hellkvist in the 5th minute of play. The supporters of Gullabo IF booed when Brastad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Bremming didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute, Marko Månsson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Brastad's Sverker Sandström didn't even have to move. When Brastad's Johan Ahlkvist in 11 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Osvald Västerstrand guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 12th minute, Alvin Sjöö hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Gullabo IF's goal looked a bit too open when Johan Ahlkvist came free, but Osvald Västerstrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kurt Blixt in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sverker Sandström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Brastad getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Frans Lundström hit a great ball. If Lars Hellkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvard Alström in the 38th minute of play forced Gullabo IF's goalkeeper Osvald Västerstrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sverker Sandström stood somewhat misplaced when Lars Hellkvist came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 44 minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lars Hellkvist to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Lars Hellkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sverker Sandström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malte Bremming kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Kurt Blixt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sverker Sandström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Hellkvist in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Brastad's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Blixt came free, but Sverker Sandström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lars Hellkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 73rd minute, Edvard Alström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 78th minute, Kurt Blixt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sverker Sandström was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Sverker Sandström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Hellkvist in the 85th minute of play. Marko Månsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sverker Sandström. Brastad's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Edvard Alström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Brastad were furious when Peter Björkdahl was red carded, 95 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of Brastad:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gullabo IF:s goal. In the 98th minute there was a penalty for Gullabo IF. Marko Månsson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sverker Sandström. 3-1. Gullabo IF's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
