Spectators: 7142 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Evert Bryngelsson kicked off to start the match. Stig-Ove Alström charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stig-Ove Alström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th match minute, French United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Ove Alström to maneuver through the defense. If Sten Wästerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oskar Svanström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georg Nyström, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Georg Nyström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hökerum's supporters rose to their feet, but Georg Nyström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oskar Svanström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Georg Nyström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Oskar Svanström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Arne Hellsing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Georg Nyström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Georg Nyström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Oskar Svanström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Georg Nyström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute Georg Nyström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oskar Svanström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute of the match Hökerum got a corner. French United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ingvar Flinck ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Hökerum's Ingvar Flinck to fire away a dangerous shot which Oskar Svanström despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arne Hellsing stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hökerum! Per-Åke Broberg placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Hampus Nordin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jens-Erik Månsson having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in French United's zone, Roland Viberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oskar Svanström came out of the goal and Roland Viberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 63 played minutes Hökerum got a freekick which was hit by Sten Wästerberg. After recieving a nice pass, French United's Per-Åke Broberg tried to score from far away in the 64th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Sten Wästerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oskar Svanström having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Hampus Nordin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jens-Erik Månsson was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Arne Hellsing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Erik Månsson having to interfere. After having played for 84 minutes, Sten Wästerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hökerum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sten Wästerberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the game, Karl-Magnus Kämpe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Oskar Svanström. Karl-Magnus Kämpe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Arne Hellsing recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hökerum had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
