An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Dahlberg in the 17th minute of play forced FC Prince's goalkeeper Axel Bergsten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomas Gulliksson hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, FC Prince's goal looked a bit too open when Björn Duset came free, but Axel Bergsten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Prince's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laureano Unai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The FC Prince fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when FC Prince's Laureano Unai looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Mönsterås RK's zone, Osvald Persson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hampus Eliasson came out of the goal and Osvald Persson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Mönsterås RK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Prince were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Björn Duset was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Björn Duset left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mönsterås RK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 59 played minutes FC Prince got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Pihlblad. 64 minutes into the match, FC Prince's goal looked a bit too open when Tor Hagström came free, but Axel Bergsten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tor Hagström scored 3-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Axel Bergsten, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
