Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Egon Petersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Kock having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonard Deckberg got free with Aron Kock in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 8th minute, Egon Petersson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aron Kock. The goal made the score 1-0. When Leonard Deckberg came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Östra Frölunda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonard Deckberg couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Bertil Ahlberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aron Kock. That made the score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. The supporters of Hofors FK booed when Östra Frölunda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Oskar Lundblad didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Leonard Deckberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Reine Hansson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aron Kock. That made the score 5-0 in the 47 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sten Algren was the one to do the kick off. Leonard Deckberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Aron Kock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute of the match, Andreas Fransson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edwin Hedling saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Östra Frölunda's Leif Anselius got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Hofors FK's goalkeeper Aron Kock, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Östra Frölunda's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Algren came free, but Edwin Hedling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If David Boklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Östra Frölunda's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sten Algren fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Östra Frölunda's Edwin Hedling proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Östra Frölunda from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Hofors FK's Andreas Fransson got a free kick in the 89th minute. Egon Petersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Östra Frölunda players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
