Witchkings's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 9 minutes in the game, Mattias Lindgren fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Slawomir Zbikowski having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Rune Käcker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Håkan Grep got free with Slawomir Zbikowski in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to DIF Fotboll getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Ludvig Tunberg hit a great ball. Mattias Lindgren struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Slawomir Zbikowski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joacim Dalkvist showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 39 minute of play. With a little luck, DIF Fotboll's Slawomir Zbikowski got control of the ball when Orhun Öksal tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, DIF Fotboll's Emanuel Zander got a free kick in the 45th minute.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rune Käcker during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Grep in the 71st minute of play forced DIF Fotboll's goalkeeper Slawomir Zbikowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Slawomir Zbikowski came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Witchkings's Olov Siöman. But to his dismay, Olov Siöman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2.
