To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 5 minutes into the match, Sköllersta BK's goal looked a bit too open when Isak Karlsson came free, but August Nyberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Stars FC's goalkeeper Dag Askberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per-Åke Vacker. Leonardo Wennersten kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Börje Kilberg hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. The long shot by Håkan Wallin in the 10th minute really tested Dag Askberg's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isak Karlsson in the 13th minute of play forced Sköllersta BK's goalkeeper August Nyberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Sköllersta BK booed when Stars FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudolf Bäck didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 18 minutes, Per-Erik Larsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sköllersta BK and the Stars FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jan Arenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. August Nyberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Sköllersta BK booed when Stars FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Mellin didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Hannes Sandell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Hannes Sandell dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dag Askberg, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Isak Karlsson made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Stars FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Jan Arenberg hit a great ball. Per-Åke Vacker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dag Askberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hannes Sandell in the 61st minute of play. Dag Askberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Åke Vacker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 85th minute of the match Per-Erik Larsson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Per-Erik Larsson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 89th minute Per-Åke Vacker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dag Askberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hannes Sandell struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Dag Askberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sköllersta BK. Björn Lundin hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. August Nyberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isak Karlsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Per-Åke Vacker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sköllersta BK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
