The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bredängs BK's Evert Melberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Johnsson in the 3rd minute of play. A collision led to Bredängs BK getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Rickard Örnberg hit a great ball. Alex Dusett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patrik Granberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evert Melberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Dennis Dusett came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kent Rolandsson could save by the left post. The throw-in from Fredrik Ersman in the 25th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Träslövsläge FF's Peter Vennersten. When Dennis Dusett fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bredängs BK's protests and gave Dennis Dusett a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Bredängs BK's Dennis Dusett got a free kick in the 27th minute. 1-1 became the score in the 31st minute when Jonas Johnsson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Jonas Johnsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evert Melberg. Bredängs BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonas Johnsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 39th minute Jonas Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Melberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dennis Dusett got free with Kent Rolandsson in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kalle Johnsson, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Dan Lind's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kent Rolandsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ingvar Dahlman made a kick off. Jonas Johnsson struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Evert Melberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Träslövsläge FF. Träslövsläge FF's Peter Vennersten quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fredrik Ersman, made in the 57th minute of the game. After 59 minutes, Birger Bergström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bredängs BK and the Träslövsläge FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 played minutes Bredängs BK got a freekick which was hit by Birger Bergström. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Alex Dusett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Träslövsläge FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Dusett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evert Melberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 66 minutes of play, Träslövsläge FF's Peter Vennersten made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evert Melberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patrik Granberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonas Johnsson struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Evert Melberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Träslövsläge FF. Dan Lind charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dan Lind the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th match minute, Bredängs BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Lind to maneuver through the defense. Evert Melberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonas Johnsson in the 80th minute. Jonas Johnsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Evert Melberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Patrik Granberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Evert Melberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Träslövsläge FF booed when Bredängs BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birger Bergström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute, Jonas Johnsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Evert Melberg. The goal made the score 1-4. Kent Rolandsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Dahlman, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute, Dennis Dusett made a precise shot to the right of Kent Rolandsson. Träslövsläge FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4.
