The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute there was a penalty for Lysvik BF. Sandared's Algot Ugla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Rönn in the 36th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Sandared was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reine Jonsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st match minute, Lysvik BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Holger Andersson to maneuver through the defense. Algot Ugla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mathias Rönn's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sandared's zone, Mathias Rönn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Algot Ugla came out of the goal and Mathias Rönn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kalle Klack made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kalle Klack in the 52nd minute of play forced Sandared's goalkeeper Algot Ugla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mathias Rönn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Christoffer Bremming fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lysvik BF's protests and gave Christoffer Bremming a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Lysvik BF getting a freekick after 56 minutes play.
