After 10 played minutes Målsryd got a freekick which was hit by Zachary Pierz. In the 12th minute, Eddie Björkdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joar Ek made in the 14th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Allan Tham. Georg Finnman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rasmus Haraldsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After the first half Målsryd were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 54th minute Ralf Josefsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georg Finnman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Georg Finnman came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Målsryd's Ralf Josefsson. But to his dismay, Ralf Josefsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. When Uno Skarkman fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Målsryd's protests and gave Uno Skarkman a yellow card for diving instead. Uno Skarkman kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Arvin Almstedt missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 61 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Bo Nilsson right hand side. Ragnar Axelsson took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bo Nilsson. Bo Nilsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 66 minutes into the match, Ragnar Axelsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bo Nilsson. Målsryd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ragnar Axelsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Bo Nilsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ragnar Axelsson in the 70th minute of the match. A collision led to Målsryd getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Zachary Pierz hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Målsryd's David Andreasson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Georg Finnman. Georg Finnman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. In the 81st minute, Ragnar Axelsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bo Nilsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Rasmus Haraldsson took a quick shot and it went in 3-5 without a chance for Georg Finnman to make any attempt to save it.
