Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Michel Pååk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stig Bergqvist having to make a save. Stig Bergqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michel Pååk in the 25th minute. Stig Bergqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joachim Jespersson in the 30th minute of the match. With a little luck, Askersund's Stig Bergqvist got control of the ball when Michel Pååk tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joachim Jespersson got free with Stig Bergqvist in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 42 minutes into the match, Askersund's goalkeeper Stig Bergqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michel Pååk. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joachim Jespersson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jan-Ove Nilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joachim Jespersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Stig Bergqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd match minute, Trångsund IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joachim Jespersson to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Askersund defense, Michel Pååk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stig Bergqvist. The Askersund fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stig Bergqvist should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Askersund's Jörgen Östman got a free kick in the 72nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joachim Jespersson in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stig Bergqvist saved Askersund from getting behind. Albert Aleberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sonny Östlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Joachim Jespersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Askersund's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Pååk came free, but Stig Bergqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 83 minutes, Sonny Östlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Askersund's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sonny Östlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arman Petersson in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Albert Aleberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A hard shot 86 in the game by Jörgen Östman from a close distance when the talented Albert Aleberg managed to make a qualified save. Trångsund IF's players were relieved. After 86 played minutes Trångsund IF got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Larsson. In the 87th minute, Jörgen Östman fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Albert Aleberg, passed just outside the right post. Michel Pååk took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stig Bergqvist. Stig Bergqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0.
