Spectators: 6667 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rickard Andreasson got the match started through his kick off. Brian Johansson hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Östra Karup FK's Dave Del Monaco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Alströmmer in the 6th minute of play. Peter Kellberg kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Dave Del Monaco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Engman in the 12th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Östra Karup FK's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Engman came free, but Dave Del Monaco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johan Fågel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Dave Del Monaco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dave Del Monaco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Engman in the 21st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Johan Fågel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dave Del Monaco was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Dave Del Monaco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Alströmmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Johan Fågel put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Dave Del Monaco. The audience was convinced that Johan Fågel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dave Del Monaco was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Eugeniusz Majerowicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sakarias Skräddare in the 34th minute. After a rather tough play, Filipstad's Kurt Engman got a free kick in the 35th minute. Kurt Engman hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, Filipstad's Johan Fågel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dave Del Monaco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Johan Fågel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sakarias Skräddare to make the kick off. When Johan Fågel came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Filipstad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johan Fågel couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Östra Karup FK's Dave Del Monaco got control of the ball when Johan Fågel tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Filipstad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoffer Smedfeldt to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Jesper Berg sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Filipstad's Eugeniusz Majerowicz didn't even have to move. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johan Fågel got free with Dave Del Monaco in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robert Alströmmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Dave Del Monaco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Jan-Erik Kråk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Filipstad's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Erik Kråk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dave Del Monaco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dave Del Monaco came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Filipstad's Johan Fågel. But to his dismay, Johan Fågel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Robert Alströmmer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dave Del Monaco having to make a save. Dave Del Monaco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Alströmmer in the 81st minute of play. Östra Karup FK's Dave Del Monaco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Engman in the 86th minute of play. Robert Alströmmer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dave Del Monaco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Eugeniusz Majerowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Piț in the 91st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Filipstad's Johan Fågel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dave Del Monaco. That made the score 1-4 after 94 minutes of play. When the final whistle sounded Filipstad left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Östra Karup FK.
