If Jörn Ahlbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 6 played minutes, Noraström's Tor Nordkvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lars Hedman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Noraström reached it. After having played for 7 minutes, Michael Östman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Noraström's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael Östman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Noraström's Michael Östman got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Michael Östman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Richard Lundgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Lars Hedman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, FK Pelister's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Lundgren came free, but Lars Hedman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Malcolm Dalman's late challenge caught a Noraström's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Malcolm Dalman helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Noraström booed when FK Pelister was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Lundgren in the 45th minute of play forced FK Pelister's goalkeeper Lars Hedman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Richard Lundgren made a kick off. The supporters of FK Pelister booed when Noraström was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tor Nordkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Uno Termander fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The FK Pelister fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lars Hedman should have stopped the shot. Richard Lundgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Hedman having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Richard Lundgren in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lars Hedman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Lars Hedman managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Noraström's Michael Östman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 88 minutes into the match, FK Pelister's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Lundgren came free, but Lars Hedman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Noraström's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Malm came free, but Morgan Skräddare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Noraström's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
