After a defensive mix-up in Nykil IFK's zone, Roger Malm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melker Näver came out of the goal and Roger Malm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Melker Näver showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Malm in the 9th minute of the match. Roger Malm struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Melker Näver didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Pelister. In the 14th minute there was a penalty for FK Pelister. Charlie Andersson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Melker Näver. 0-1. Nykil IFK's Birger Engman got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joakim Ekgren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lars Hedman having to make a save. If Roger Malm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Greger Hellkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Melker Näver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Greger Hellkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melker Näver having to interfere. Birger Engman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to FK Pelister getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Malcolm Dalman hit a great ball.

If Roger Malm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd match minute, FK Pelister was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malcolm Dalman to maneuver through the defense. Roger Malm charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roger Malm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FK Pelister's Roger Malm got a free kick in the 75th minute. Birger Engman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Lars Hedman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FK Pelister's Lars Hedman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Ekgren in the 81st minute of play. Lars Hedman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oliver Söderberg went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Greger Hellkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Birger Engman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nykil IFK succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though FK Pelister had controlled the match.
