Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Max Hök took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Laurentii Athletic's zone, Bror Klintæus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Axel Sundling came out of the goal and Bror Klintæus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 6th minute, one of Laurentii Athletic:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Laurentii Athletic. 7 minutes into the game, Eddie Wahlnäs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Karl-Axel Sundling was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Max Hök had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laurentii Athletic's Karl-Axel Sundling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bror Klintæus in the 13th minute of play. If Stig-Arne Ahlquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Max Hök sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elof Kalfhage scored 1-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roland Bergström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Roland Bergström was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Fabian Täman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fabian Täman really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 32nd minute, Thor Alströmmer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Sonny Wall sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Österfärnebo IK's Roland Bergström didn't even have to move. When Laurentii Athletic's Fabian Täman in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Österfärnebo IK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Österfärnebo IK's goalkeeper Roland Bergström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 45 played minutes Österfärnebo IK got a freekick which was hit by Bror Klintæus. After 46 played minutes Laurentii Athletic got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Arne Ahlquist. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabian Täman to make the kick off. Roland Bergström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Täman, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The audience was convinced that Fabian Täman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roland Bergström was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. If Stig-Arne Ahlquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Max Hök in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Axel Sundling saved Laurentii Athletic from getting behind. Fabian Täman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the game, Bengt-Åke Lindgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Österfärnebo IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laurentii Athletic the free kick. Bengt-Åke Lindgren kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Österfärnebo IK's Roland Bergström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Täman in the 72nd minute of play. Roland Bergström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabian Täman's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. After 90 played minutes Österfärnebo IK got a freekick which was hit by Sivert Wennerqvist. Fabian Täman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
