Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Peter Apelquist started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Peter Apelquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Bergström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Bror Klintæus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Tony Paulin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bror Klintæus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Tony Paulin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Apelquist in the 16th minute of play forced Österfärnebo IK's goalkeeper Roland Bergström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Österfärnebo IK's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Apelquist came free, but Roland Bergström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osvald Lundgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Peter Apelquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bror Klintæus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Paulin having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Österfärnebo IK's Bror Klintæus got a free kick in the 30th minute. Peter Apelquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peter Apelquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Bergström having to interfere. Elias Salkvist hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Hubert Dalkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Södertälje SK getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Alf Nordström hit a great ball. Österfärnebo IK's Roland Bergström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Apelquist in the 43rd minute of play. Södertälje SK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Max Hök 46 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Max Hök was the one to do the kick off. Tony Paulin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bror Klintæus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tony Paulin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thor Alströmmer, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. If Thor Alströmmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peter Apelquist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roland Bergström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Södertälje SK's Hubert Dalkvist got a free kick in the 64th minute. Peter Apelquist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Osvald Lundgren in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roland Bergström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Österfärnebo IK's zone, Alf Nordström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roland Bergström came out of the goal and Alf Nordström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 87 minutes, Peter Apelquist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Södertälje SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Apelquist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Max Hök notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Södertälje SK's Tony Paulin. Tony Paulin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the last second Roland Bergström throw himself and got hold of the ball when Peter Apelquist in the 93rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Osvald Lundgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Österfärnebo IK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
