After some careless play in the Ruda defense, Bo-Erik Kilström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sigvard Andersson. The Ruda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sigvard Andersson should have stopped the shot. 11 minutes into the match, Ruda's goal looked a bit too open when Bo-Erik Kilström came free, but Sigvard Andersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, Bo-Erik Kilström reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sigvard Andersson. The goal made the score 2-0. Bo-Erik Kilström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigvard Andersson having to interfere. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ruda's goalkeeper Sigvard Andersson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 20 minutes, Bo-Erik Kilström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vera FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bo-Erik Kilström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Philip Forss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jack Mogren in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 30th minute Bo-Erik Kilström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigvard Andersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Philip Forss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack Mogren in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malte Pååk in the 46th minute of play forced Ruda's goalkeeper Sigvard Andersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bo-Erik Kilström was the one to do the kick off. Åke Västlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bo-Erik Kilström in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sigvard Andersson saved Ruda from getting behind. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ruda fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Vera FC a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Åke Västlund, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ruda's Sigvard Andersson. 4-1. 61 minutes into the match, Ruda's Ove Berglund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Philip Forss narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Ludvig Sjöberg fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vera FC's protests and gave Ludvig Sjöberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 65 played minutes Vera FC got a freekick which was hit by Ludvig Sjöberg. 67 minutes into the match, Vidar Jönsson notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Vera FC's Philip Forss. Philip Forss was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Philip Forss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jack Mogren in the 71st minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Vera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Mogren came free, but Philip Forss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vidar Jönsson took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Philip Forss. Philip Forss dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. After a defensive mix-up in Ruda's zone, Jörgen Harlén stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sigvard Andersson came out of the goal and Jörgen Harlén tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the match, Åke Västlund notched a goal, 5-3, to the right of Ruda's Sigvard Andersson. Sigvard Andersson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ludvig Sjöberg got his second yellow card in the match during the 86th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 87 played minutes Vera FC got a freekick which was hit by Ludvig Sjöberg. In the 87th minute of the match Andy Dahlberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Philip Forss skillfully saved the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Ruda's goal looked a bit too open when Bo-Erik Kilström came free, but Sigvard Andersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sigvard Andersson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jörgen Harlén's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Vidar Jönsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Philip Forss made a huge save.
