The audience was convinced that George Finnman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oliver Hedkvist was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Grimstorp IFK's zone, George Finnman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oliver Hedkvist came out of the goal and George Finnman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Robert Nyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivan Ahlquist made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Jan Strandberg sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grimstorp IFK's goalkeeper Oliver Hedkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernt Nordström during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute, Bernt Nordström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute, George Finnman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oliver Hedkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Åke Bark hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Esbjörn Källberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ivan Ahlquist. Dalum's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dalum's George Finnman got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Dalum's Ivan Ahlquist got control of the ball when Jan Strandberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Robert Nyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Nyman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 38th minute Robert Nyman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Hedkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Patrik Persson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Robert Nyman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Oliver Hedkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dalum's Robert Nyman got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Henrik Lundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and George Finnman made a kick off. Oliver Hedkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Finnman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 minutes Grimstorp IFK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mattias Bryngelsson who took care of the corner kick. In the 62nd minute, Henrik Lundin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Börje Örn in the 65th minute of play forced Dalum's goalkeeper Ivan Ahlquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dalum's George Finnman got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robert Nyman scored 0-3 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oliver Hedkvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Edmund Lind fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grimstorp IFK's protests and gave Edmund Lind a yellow card for diving instead. Edmund Lind hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. A nice corner shot did that Mattias Bryngelsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Oliver Hedkvist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Henrik Lundin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Oliver Hedkvist came out and tried to block the shot, but Henrik Lundin slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 77th minute. In the 81st minute George Finnman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Hedkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Robert Nyman came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Dalum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Nyman couldn't finish the play. Patrik Persson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Hedkvist having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Henrik Lundin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Robert Nyman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Oliver Hedkvist made a huge save. After having played for 90 minutes, Henrik Lundin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dalum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrik Lundin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Grimstorp IFK's goalkeeper Oliver Hedkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robert Nyman. 93 minutes into the match, Dalum's Robert Nyman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oliver Hedkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 94 played minutes Dalum got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Persson. Grimstorp IFK's Esbjörn Källberg got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dalum played a much better game than Grimstorp IFK and deserved their victory. The Grimstorp IFK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
