Christopher Thorsberg hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute, Dan Månsson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Yelus Fc's Karl Ekeroth didn't even have to move. In the 11th minute Tommy Bagge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Ove Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Södernäs BK defense, Tommy Bagge kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl-Ove Eklund. The Södernäs BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl-Ove Eklund should have stopped the shot. If Jack Svanström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yelus Fc's Jack Svanström got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Södernäs BK's Henry Carlsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl Ekeroth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Karl-Ove Eklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Bagge in the 27th minute of play. Tommy Bagge might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl-Ove Eklund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tommy Bagge ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 33rd minute Tommy Bagge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Ove Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henry Carlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Karl Ekeroth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charlie Sävström in the 38th minute of play forced Yelus Fc's goalkeeper Karl Ekeroth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christopher Thorsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Charlie Sävström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Ekeroth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Christopher Thorsberg came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Yelus Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christopher Thorsberg couldn't finish the play. The Södernäs BK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Yelus Fc were winning 0-1.

Karl Ekeroth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Carlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Jack Svanströms short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Karl-Ove Eklund to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jack Svanström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Karl-Ove Eklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jack Svanström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Ove Eklund having to interfere. Alfred Linberg's late challenge caught a Yelus Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfred Linberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd match minute, Södernäs BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Linberg to maneuver through the defense. If Tommy Bagge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yelus Fc's Karl Ekeroth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Carlsson in the 81st minute of play. Henry Carlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 86 minutes, Charlie Sävström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Södernäs BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charlie Sävström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henry Carlsson struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Karl Ekeroth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Södernäs BK. Jack Svanström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Karl-Ove Eklund made a huge save. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Yelus Fc's goalkeeper Karl Ekeroth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Tommy Bagge came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Yelus Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tommy Bagge couldn't finish the play. Yelus Fc's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
